Watercolor paints are water-based paints that are used to paint on paper.

They are in the form of dry buttons, which, when moistened with water, provide ready-to-use paints almost immediately.

ASTRA school watercolors consist of high-quality, finely ground pigments, combined with a water-soluble binder.

In addition to pigments and binders, school watercolors contain some amounts of fillers, which make the paint matt as it dries.

Thanks to this, by applying the paint thicker, you can paint using techniques similar to gouache, and in higher dilutions with techniques characteristic for watercolors. Watercolors can be used in combination with tempera paints, poster paints and ASTRA wax crayons.
